200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh
200 Hour Yoga TTC in Rishikesh, India
A Perfect Short-Term Course to Transform Your Mind & BodyBegin your yoga teaching journey with Sages Yoga's 200-Hour Teacher Training in Rishikesh — the foundational certification that builds real asana knowledge, teaching confidence, and a daily practice strong enough to carry you through any advanced training ahead. Set in Rishikesh, where the Ganges meets the Himalayas and yoga has been lived rather than just taught for centuries, this course gives you more than a certificate.
Over the duration of the programme, you will move through asana practice, alignment, anatomy, pranayama, and meditation in a structured daily timetable that challenges you the right amount — enough to grow, never enough to break. And twice a week, you step away from the mat entirely — visiting the ashrams, temples, hidden waterfalls, and quiet riversides that make Rishikesh unlike anywhere else in the world, including the unforgettable evening Ganga Aarti at the banks of Maa Ganga. You leave not just with a certification, but with a practice that is genuinely yours — and the foundation to build everything that comes after it.

What Makes This Course Special
Most 200-hour courses hand you a manual and move through the syllabus. We do it differently. At Sages Yoga, you are not just learning yoga — you are living it, in the city where it has been practiced for thousands of years. Small batches mean your teacher actually knows your name, watches your alignment, and corrects you in real time. The curriculum is structured but the environment is warm. You will be pushed, but never left behind. And twice a week, Rishikesh itself becomes your classroom — the ashrams, the river, the temples, the hills. That balance of discipline and experience is what students remember long after the certificate is framed.
BENEFITS
1. You finally understand your body
Most people practice yoga for years without really knowing what is happening inside. This course changes that. You will learn how each asana affects your muscles, joints, and breath — and that knowledge makes your practice safer, smarter, and far more intentional.
2.Stress doesn't follow you here
Between the early mornings, the river air, the structured routine, and the complete break from your regular life — something shifts within the first week. Students consistently say they sleep better, think clearer, and feel calmer than they have in years. Rishikesh does a lot of that heavy lifting on its own.
3. You build a daily practice that actually sticks
One of the hardest things about yoga is consistency at home. Four weeks of living the practice — same time, same discipline, every day — rewires your habits in a way that a weekend workshop simply cannot. Most students return home and keep the routine without even trying.
4. You leave with people who get it
Something about doing hard things together creates real friendships. Your batchmates will come from different countries and different backgrounds, but by the end of the course you will have shared early mornings, tough sessions, honest conversations, and quiet sunsets by the Ganga. Those connections tend to last well beyond the course.
